About me

I'm Madeline Schamberger, a French-born Makeup and Hair Artist based in Toronto, drawn to the art of transformation and storytelling through beauty.
My path started in science, with a background in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, but a deep love for creative expression led me to shift course. After graduating from CMU College of Makeup Art & Design, I began exploring the world of beauty, film, and editorial work, blending technical skill with an artistic eye.
I’m always seeking new ways to evolve my craft and bring ideas to life, whether on set, backstage, or in personal artistic projects.
My vision
With makeup, I aim to tell new stories. Each face becomes a canvas, each look a character, and every project an opportunity to explore emotion, atmosphere, and transformation through art.
I'm often inspired by the smallest details: a texture, a color, a shape, or a feeling. I focus on these little sparks and build a complete vision around them. My creative process is deeply influenced by a mix of artistic worlds: music, painting, fashion, and film all come together to shape the way I work.
Whether I’m on a film set, photo shoot, or creative collaboration, I tailor my approach to both the individual and the story we’re telling. From campaigns and editorials to artistic projects and film, I view makeup and hair as powerful tools to express, enhance, and connect. This is more than just work for me, it’s a passion driven by creativity
